About Me

Hello,

I am glad you are here. I would like to tell you a little about me and my therapeutic style, my credentials, and my education
to help you learn more about who I am as a professional and a person.

My THEARPEUTIC STYLE:

I will provide you with a treatment plan with your specific goals and concerns. I am not a "one size fits all" therapeutic practioner. Through my free Mental Health Pros portal,
I  give my clients cutting edge twenty-first century access to hundreds of articles, assessements, and options for journaling, plus so much more!  Also, to help you achieve greater recovery in therapy than ever before, I also use a process called "Feed-back Improved Therapy." Simply by measuring how you are doing before each session begins and providing me feedback on how the session was for you, I will be able to improve my effectiveness as your therapist to increase the value you receive from our time together.

What does this mean for you?  After you fill out the short rating form I can statistically graph the results from the first session to the end of of therapy.  I can not only show you how you are improving we can then decide as a team the goals that still need to be addressed. I can also send these results (with your permission) to your doctor and or your insurance company.

My feedback improved therapy is available for use with children and adolescents as well.
Parents appreciate the feedback because they can see weekly their childs steady improvement as well as goals that still need to be addressed.
Also, parents and care-givers can gain a clear understanding of the therapeutic relationship between child and therapist.

In conclusion, I feel this system is unique because it affords me the opportunity to  always be on target with my clients because I have the client's progress in my notes to refer to
as well and (with client permission ) their journal entries to read before sessions and during the week, so we do not have to spend time in session catching up on what's been happening between sessions.
Statistics have shown that clients tend to stay in therapy longer when they can give honest feedback to their therapist without fear of having to hold back and when
they can see for themselves that they are progressing with their goals.
